| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 7, 2006 Clear amber/copper body, creamy off-white head.
Fruity malt aroma. Kind of nice… almost like a fruitier maibock.
Smooth body, light sweet fruity malt. Light hop finish dries it out slightly.
Not a bad beer. Not a ton going on but pleasant.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 6, 2006 12oz. bottle. Aroma is pretty slight, just some lightly toasted and caramel malt character, perhaps some barely discernible background fruitiness. Clear light-medium amber color with a fine, lasting head. Flavor consists of a light wash of brown sugar, nuttiness and accompanying light, spicy hop bitterness, finishing crisp in lager fashion, thankfully not overwhelmed by sweetness, in fact balanced fairly well but not pronounced or leaving much of an impression, somehow. Semi-dry and moderately effervescent on the palate with a light body. A very small amount of yeast appears here and there. Disappeared quickly and without much fanfare. cheapdark (2017), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

The label says all malt. Perhaps the flavor has a bit more than typical mass brewed. This is better than the adirondac saranac vienna I tasted recently. I think Auggie has a pretty good handle on flavor with his variations of ’Schell’ beers. twindadplus2 (415), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2006 Bottle. Orange in color with a light brownish tinge and a respectable head. Sweet malt and floral hop aroma is nice but a bit light. A decent roasted malt flavor with a nice hops background. A toasty smooth finish with a hint of bitterness rounds it out.
A good Vienna just a little light all around. linkolnlogg (94), your home, Minnesota, USA

Scent is lightly sugary with an unusual musty smell. Taste is distinctively malty nested on a light hop backdrop with a mildly sweet finish. HopsOrDie (687), New Lenox, Illinois, USA
