Commercial Description:
This all malt, Vienna-style lager is a real crowd pleaser! Roasted malts and imported hops give it a deliciously smooth malt taste backed by a light hop finish. Perfect for any occasion.

Pours small head with a dark amber color. A little cloudy... could have been the light though. It looks and smells a lot better than it tastes. Smooth but somewhat flat. Could use a little more carbonation. Nothing too impressive. Where’s the Zing???

Bottled. I belive this was my first beer in this style, back when I visited the Schell Brewery a few year ago. It seemed very likable then, though there are few faults when I try it now. There is a good Vienna malt smell. It pours a nice red with little to no head. Taste is rich and malty, but has the phenolic tang of peated malts. So a bit off, but that’s the risk in this style. Definitely worth looking up if you get a chance.

Thanks to RobertsReality for this. Ruby pour with medium white head. Heavy malt aroma, with toffee, fruit, and slight barnyard elements. Tastes malty, with a dry finish and medium palate.

This bottled brew poured a large sized head of frothy mostly lasting off-white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained average carbonation, was transparent and copper brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of grassy floral malts. Its mouth feel is initially tingly smooth with a tingly off palate and a strange aftertaste. Its flavor contained malty notes. A very average brew.

Light red, small head. One dimensional flavor of somewhat sweet malt. Better than many other Vienna’s I have had.

I thought this would be some good beer. It had a pretty cool story behind it but all it turned out to be was a piss hard-on followed by a bad case of blue balls. I didn’t think the taste lived up to the hype.
