Original notes: [Orange-amber color with quickly surrendering head. Sweet juicy aroma. Flavor’s not as sweet as anticipated, but still predominately sweet malts with virtually no finish. OK.] Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA

Grapefruity undertone I’ve not noticed in this style of beer. Not as full bodied as the other Viennas I’ve had. Good experience, thank you Slikwily for this beer. Andrew196 (1091), Katy, Texas, USA

This beer was a but weird to me for some reason and I couldnt put my finger on it. There was something off in the malts....too sweet, too bitter in the finish? Something was out of place here....not much in the way of hops here either, just not a pleasant experience. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

Good clean malty character but not much more than that. I think maybe the sample was not in the best shape though. ztrvz (218), st paul, Minnesota, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 10, 2004 In the bottle. Copper orange in color. Large bubbles in the head and coating the side of the glass. No lacing. Bitter taste up front. Malt flavor then announces itself, but not loudly. As with most of the Schell beers, this one stops just short of great. Sammy (4065), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
