Decent beer. Leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste. Pretty just an average beer in this category.

Well blended bitterness with a creamy palate. Easy to drink and nothing over-whelms anything else in the beer. Decent.

Rich gold hue; average head. Creamy carbonation; snappy texture. Filled with honey, flowers, herbs, spices, cereal and sweet grains. Nice, slightly hot alcohol nip in the background. Has some tripel characteristics, but with an unusal hop profile. Slightly cloying in the back of the throat. Not too shabby.

In the bottle. Thanks to hurrisnow. Pours a rich orange amber with a medium head. Has a decent toffee aroma. The body could be a bit thicker, but is not objectionable. I like the Gottberg Maibock much better.

A must avoid. Flavor of maple syrup, burns in the throat from overly strong alcohol. 6 different hops varieties? Give me a break. This beer displays no finesse at all. It re-learns me to avoid phony macro/micro-brews in favor of true micro brews or (better) beers that traveled half way around the world to my fridge - screw the environment. Part of a variety pack I purchased. The Zommerfest was equally horrible. I dread what’s to come. You can trust me; I’m a Minnesotan.

Pour is clear dark golden with a tight bubbled off white head...smell is sort of funky...maybe some apples, and feet...taste is sweet and malty...some caramel and toast...alcohol comes out a little in the finish...

Very nice full head will a hoppy aroma. Clear, amber brew with moderate carbonation. Very decent beer for a hot and humid day.

Pours a medium/light golden with a minimal white head. Good lacing on the sides of the glass. Sweet and slightly appley aroma. Nice thick body on this one. Flavor is sorta sweet and appley, and not particularly pronounced. Not particularly bitter or hoppy, but quite alcohol flavored. Not bad but nothing great.
