When i imagine my great grandfather drinking beer, i imagine he drank something like this. (lucky) Nice color, nice natural head. great blend of sweetness and a slightly bitter hoppiness at the end.

Aroma is nice roast malt, light chocolate some dark fruit tones.
Flavour is smooth dark roast malt, hints of chocolate and coffee, light vanilla and molasses.

Nice aroma of roast, some sweet molasses, and a little chocolate and vanilla. Creamy mouthful with a little sizzle. Mellow flavor of roast, vanilla, slight caramel and creamy chocolates. Aroma is roasted malt with some sweet fruity notes. Flavor start with a nice creamy dark malt. Little bit of a crispness in the finish that doesn’t linger too long. Medium bodied. Sweet semi-roasted malt, a little dirty, nice. Dirty brown malt, sweet, roast, nice. Medium, well carbonated body. Taste of sweet malts, caramel and dark malts with some chocolate coming through on the back end. Smooth and creamy, another decent offering from August Schell.
