kappldav123 (876), Markkleeberg, Germany May 11, 2008 The bottle looks not bad, the beer in the glass is fine. Not too dark, malty aroma. Starts not too strong. Malty-dry, a little bit smoky. Very drinkable and good alt!
Allen (489), Wölflinswil, Switzerland Jun 11, 2008 Bottled 50cl. It pours a clear dark amber beer with a very nicely lasting off white head. Lively carbonation. The nose is metallic. Malty taste with hints of chestnuts. Straw and lemon showing up. Buttery. A beer with a tall head which leaves a wonderful lace. Light bodied. Malt clearly dominates the taste. Metallic. Low bitterness. Unpleasant faint nutty finish. Dissapointing. ekstedt (1731), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 10, 2008 Draught (30 cl) at Sophien Eck, Berlin, Germany. Clear deep copper with medium beige head. Mild rosted aroma with some burnt sugar, along with dusty & earthy hops. Soft mouthfeel. Good balance, dry finish.
