I believe it a 80 Schilling, great for the style.

A really nice scotch ale, with a wonderful malt backbone. Hops are present, but subdued. Nice color of light brown with a faint head. Amber caramel notes, with a slight sweet fruity finish. Great Job...

Dark hazy reddish-copper color with a thick off-white head that sticks to my glass. Bready and caramel aromas, starts sweet and creamy with a hint of caramel, medium bodied, nice full and round mouthfeel, finishes smooth and clean with a lingering sweetness, not bad.

Hoppy nose, but softer without as much citrus as the Hop harvest. some graininess and citrus in the flavor.

On tap at the flying saucer in kc. Pours a copper pennyish, clear and light red. No cloud or haze. Nice size head on tap, with a fluffy and off-white tint to it. Dissipated slowly and left a decent amount of lacing on the glass. Tons of malt smells. Sweet and grainy/breadlike. Some warmer caramel malt smells and a good amount of citrusy hops. A lighter body and a very smooth finish before instantly drying out. Nice and sharp citrus flavors with a real thin tasting orange/lemon zest. Pretty bitter and earthy. In my opinion, the big malt background is really balanced well with the abundance of citrus hops. I really, really like this beer and the freshness of it on tap is outstanding.

Clear reddish copper appearance, stiff off-white head with good retentive powers, slowly dissipated into thin lacing, light amount of ringed sticking. Smoky grains, toasted caramel malts and herbal hops are very prevalent in the aroma. A subtle orange and lemon fruitiness in the background. Velvety, but firm moderate body, a touch of herbal oily slickness in the palate. Toasted grains and sweet caramelized malts along with a slight touch of smoke. Orange and lemon fruitiness emerges in the middle, adding a sweet and sour effect in the taste. The earthy leafiness and herbal hop spiciness helped to give this a great dry finish. This was quite pleasant on a cool night in the River City, robust enough to chase away any chills. On-tap at the Taproom.

Thin, slippery body beneath a less than adequate toffeeish malt structure. Very average.

(Hops in the City) Light medium gold. Slightly sweet malt with a hint of hops in the finish.
