Mar 22, 2004 Sweet caramel and malt aroma, festive and sweet grass as well. Bright orange and clear appearance. Grainy and sweet like the aroma, but more subdued. Quite refreshing.

Feb 19, 2004 (draught at Bottleworks) Medium-dark copper with small head. Mild aroma (but I had a stuffy nose) with hints of malt and hops. Body is balanced malt with a bitter pine-y, spicey hops finish. More hops than I ususally think of for the style.

Sep 21, 2003 Hop in the City '03: Dark brown, minimal head. Sweet honey malt, a just a hint of hops. Smooth though thin mouthfeel, strong bitter finish with some good malt wrappers. Nuttiness is lingering around and leaves a good flavour.

Sep 20, 2003 This rating was from the Hop In The City event where brews from the previous year were sampled (5 oz) by the attendees from kegs. This brew poured a small head of white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a hazy orange brown colored body. It had a mild malt floral aroma and a bubbly mildly biting mouthfeel. THe flavor was hoppy and somewhat spicey.

Feb 7, 2003 Ruby colored. Decent head off tap. A sticky hoppy flavor with just a hint of caramel and toffee. A hint of nuts. Decent.
