Commercial Description:
This lager, brewed with the addition of corn, is light in color and body, in the original American Pilsner style. Unlike most mass-produced light lagers, it’s still full of flavor and aroma.

Has a mild malty, corn aroma to it. Yellow body, some bubbled, with a foamy white head. Flavor is thin, slightly hoppy, but generally not distinct. Has a thin body, such that you notice the carbonation more. Overall, this is rather blah.

Sampled at the brewery. Pretty light on hops, as the style dictates, but well balanced and easy to drink. Very decent.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with TannerTavernboys (thanks!). Poured a light and slightly hazy yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Light aromas of grain and some sweet malts. Tastes of grain, citrus, with a grassy finish. Thin body.

Pour light gold / yellow with a medium sized head that quickly turns into a ring around the glass. Smell is of crisp malt with corn on the aroma. Light body, taste is similar to the aroma. Not much hops to notice. Not a bad beer to barbecue with or have while in conversation, but nothing exciting.

On tap at the Bottleworks. Which was a brilliant idea after drinking all afternoon at the City Musuem for Schlafly’s Cabin party. A plethora of pints and giggles. And of course, this finished off the night. And of course, this is what I can decipher...Clear, dull golden hue. Minimal white head. Good, no great pour. (whatever that means?) Fresh hop nose. Citrus and lively. Bitter body. Crisp and sharp with a sweet mild malt note.

Bottle: Light straw color with a moderate white head. An apple tree in bloom near the barley field as the gentle breeze carries the scents throughout the countryside. Flavors of pale malts balance by a firm hops bitterness. Nearly to strong toward the end, leaving a spicy dry finish. A dry and straightforward lager.

Light gold body with a white head. There is lots of carbonation. The aroma is corn with some flowers and a little bit of carrots. The taste is fairly spicy with some bell pepper and a little bit of herbal flowers. There is also some corn in the finish. A decent lager.

Bottled date of Sept. 8, 2005. Clear golden in color with a thin, whispy pale-white head that is totally diminishing. Very mild aroma: some honey, maltballs, and wet wheat. Flavor is initially metallic, followed by sweet corn and mild, grassy hops. Much more grainy and herbally than a typical Bud/Miller/Coors, but still lacking in the flavor department. Moderately carbonated.
