Commercial Description:
This lager, brewed with the addition of corn, is light in color and body, in the original American Pilsner style. Unlike most mass-produced light lagers, it’s still full of flavor and aroma.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with TannerTavernboys (thanks!). Poured a light and slightly hazy yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Light aromas of grain and some sweet malts. Tastes of grain, citrus, with a grassy finish. Thin body.

Sparkling clear, light yellow lager with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Very thick, creamy lacework. Decent retention. The aroma is fruity with notes of peach, mash, toasted oats and cereal grains. The flavor is fairly nondescript, but well-hopped. Very clean and refreshing. Medium-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, crisp, pleasantly bitter finish.

More drinkable than most that fall under our "pale lager" category, this looks like the rest, yellow with a skinny fizzy head. The aroma is a sweet with corn and a faint grassy bitterness. The flavor’s much the same, although having a more noticeable bitterness than most in this style. Abrupt finish.

Bottle: Light straw color with a moderate white head. An apple tree in bloom near the barley field as the gentle breeze carries the scents throughout the countryside. Flavors of pale malts balance by a firm hops bitterness. Nearly to strong toward the end, leaving a spicy dry finish. A dry and straightforward lager.

Pale golden color with fizzy light head. The aroma is grainy & malty with some hop notes. The flavor is sppicy with more malty notes. Very good for a lager, like the CAP. finishes mild & spicy too, vaguely refreshing. Lots of citrus notes come through towards the end of this one. Thanks MarkR!

Sample at the Taproom. Hugely malty, and a bit apple-tinged; nice malt background, bit of late noble hops, light and refreshing but reasonably full. Well above-average lager.

Light gold body with a white head. There is lots of carbonation. The aroma is corn with some flowers and a little bit of carrots. The taste is fairly spicy with some bell pepper and a little bit of herbal flowers. There is also some corn in the finish. A decent lager.

Nice Limited Edition 1904 bottle: Basic golden hue with fading fizzy head and some lace. The aroma hints of grassy and nobel hops, lemon and orange zest, toasted buttery malts, and moderate dusty yeast esters. The taste starts with a citric and malty blend, very good balance and good depth for style. Additional undertones of mild bitterness and sweet corn. The finish is mildly bitter and chalky. The mouthfeel starts crisp but is not very clean, lingering papery feel. A quaffable lager and better than the macro offering down the road. Thanks Iggy for the bottle.
