Pours a nice even amber color. Lots of piney and bitter hops. "Medium bodied" is the perfect way to describe this one. Doesn’t overpower, but not watery at all. Has just a hint of malt, but it acts as a nice balance to the hops. I really dug this one and would have it again. Rynoplasty (545), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 6, 2008 Pours a hazy golden brown with a fairly small off white head. Aroma is sweet smelling with a bunch of citrusy hops iin it. Taste is strong grapefruit citrus with a long bitter finish. Could use a little bit more malt profile but a very good beer nonetheless. esjaygee (1581), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 6, 2008 Clear particulate laden golden amber with large wispy off-white slowly diminishing head that laces quite nicely. Medium hope nose of citrus and floral aromas and a touch of bread & yeast. Decently balanced with a light bitter finish. A little light on hops taste-wise (grapefruit) for an APA, but not too bad. wheninhell (486), louisville, Kentucky, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Hazy orange amber with massive frothy bright-white head. Deliciously fruity apricot and nectarine aroma with underlying pine resin. Great hop bite to the flavor, pungent spruciness with dry grassy, earthy green finish. Biscuity malts balance it nicely. Good carbonation level, overall a solid, tasty APA. NachlamSie (1650), Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 13, 2008 Bottle born on January 29, 2008. Pours a cloudy orange with a tall white head. I was expecting a bit more hops in the aroma, but it’s still pretty nice. A musty note is there, almost like a Saison, but primarily herbal spiciness and caramel are present. I don’t get a great deal of citrus on this one. The flavor has a medium level of sweetness in a bready, peachy fashion with drying, piny hoppiness. Again, not a whole lot of citrus. The bitterness comes out more like herbs or pot. This is a pretty solid American pale. tjthresh (1780), Greenfield, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 29, 2008 12 ounce bottle. Pour very hazy yellow with lots of particles. Sticky snow white head. A nice aroma of oranges and pine. The flavor leans more toward the floral side with a long bitter finish. Medium body. High carbonation. Bitter dry finish. Really as far as APA goes, you could do much worse. pnista (1008), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 25, 2008 Pours a golden yellow, clear with a big old sparse white head, full of spaces. The nose is full of hops. C-word hops. Resinous pine to floral bitterness. Sweet, light malt. A little soap, a hint of creaminess. Hops first. The mouthfeel is pretty good, slick and full for the style, reigned in carbonation. The flavor is a cut below. Big ass hops, again C-word all the way, fresh as one can expect. The sweetness is too sweet though, to simple. Pale ass malt, not a lot of dimensionality to it. There’s some unwelcome toast. The sickening sweetness seems to play up a hint of DMS. Maybe I served this too warm. Lingering bitterness. Not a bad beer, a better APA, fo shizzle.
