Aroma of lightly sweet crystal malt and a big orange grapefruity hop presence. Body starts with a nice pale malty sweetness balanced with crisp, resiny citrus hops toward a bittersweet drier clean finish. Very drinkable without lacking in flavor or body. A good APA. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Not a very clean finish - it has this dirty cotton gauze aftertaste. Reminds me of a pilsner with some hops mixed in at the last minute. AmEricanbrew (1932), orange, California, USA

Pours a light amber color with a small head.Has a mostly grainy, yeasty lagar type smell. Light to medium bodied with a frothy mouthfeel. A straight forward taste is of malted grains and mildly bitter. Finishes clean and dry on the palate.
Not a sweet beer, nor sour, it reminds me of liquid Grapenuts. Pretty nice. July 2005

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2007 bonused bottle courtesy of Drmatt. Slightly hazed amber pour with a nice sized white head. Slightly earthy, musty orange like hop aroma. Nice mild, earthy hop flavor as well, with similar malt qualities to the Schlafly pilsner. Orange noticed in the taste as well. A nice pale ale overall. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Bottle from Sean, thanks. Pours out an orange color with a white head on it. Smells like hops and some sweet malty flavors. Taste is powerful and slightly bitter, yet it was still really good. This tastes alot like an IPA. Not alot to say about it, its just a good decent session beer. Thanks Sean. miketd (685), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 15, 2007 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with MrRain. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a massive white head. The lacing was left in rows on the glass; as I took a sip, a ring of foam was left on the glass. After three or four sips, there were the same number of rings left on the glass. Fresh citrus hop aroma. The flavor is mostly fresh citrus hops with a bit of caramel malt. Some lingering hops bitterness at the finish. An interesting rendition of the style.
