| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 15, 2007 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with MrRain. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a massive white head. The lacing was left in rows on the glass; as I took a sip, a ring of foam was left on the glass. After three or four sips, there were the same number of rings left on the glass. Fresh citrus hop aroma. The flavor is mostly fresh citrus hops with a bit of caramel malt. Some lingering hops bitterness at the finish. An interesting rendition of the style. MrRain (437), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA

This APA pours cloudy with a huge white head that dissipates quickly leaving behind a rather ugly lacing. The lacing doesn’t detract from the way it looked with that big white head, like the beer just stepped out of a beer commercial. It smells like spicy hop resin. The body is full and crisp. The hops come through nicely. This beer is pushing the limits of tasting like an IPA. The finish is crisp and abrupt and leaves your mouth watering. Acknud (792), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 20, 2007 Sample at the Lambert St. Louis airport location (as Expedition Reserve). Clear amber-orange color with a thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of floral hops and citrus. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, citrus and toasted malt. The finish is moderately hoppy and fruity and lingers awhile. Pretty good overall. BenRod (44), Springfield, Missouri, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 17, 2007 Poured from the tap of a local pub. Amber color, not much head, but what was there was white. Aroma decent, but unremarkable, but improves as it warms. Same with taste. Lovely hop level for the beer. Nice, fruity hint in with the great hop flavor. Good session beer. merlin48 (521), New Tazewell, Tennessee, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 16, 2007 Found a sixpack of this "Dry Hopped APA" at a supermarket in Evansville. Pours a hazy amber body with a copious offwhite head. Light medium body with crisp carbonation. Aroma of leafy grassy hops, citrus, and red apples. Taste has a persistent green leafy hop bitterness that is complimented by a McIntosh apple fruitiness and some citrus. Toasty caramel malt backbone is subtle but balances well. One of the best new APA’s I’ve encountered recently.
