Hazy amber with small white head and nice lace. Floral hops aroma. Flavor is grassy hops with enough malt for balance. Not overly hopped - a very nice APA. Earlier Rating: 6/12/2004 Total Score: 3.9 Lovely orange-amber with decent head. Citrus aroma. Full bodied with citrus bitterness balanced by a good malt backbone. Earlier Rating: 2/19/2004 Total Score: 3.7 (draught at Bottleworks) Hazy gold-copper. Small head, nice lace. Nice hops aroma. Enough of a malt backbone to carry the pine-grapefruit hops flavors. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA

On tap @ the fest. Very fresh nose of pine & citrus. The brew is amber clover honey. The nice cascade meanders into a fully lasting tall stiff off-white creamy head. The exceptional flavor has a huge citrus presence. Great balance and depth, not unlike the Alpha King! The medium body is lively and dry. The finish feels astringent. One of the highlights of the festival! dmac (1469), Toms River, New Jersey, USA

Not sure why but I just didn’t think this one looked that great something about the appearance of the body, hazy and flat. Aroma is citrusy hops and sweet caramel malts. Palate is very nice with pleasing carbonation and a medium mouthfeel. Flavor is malty with noticable hop bitterness on the finish. Very nice Pale Ale. cbkschubert (1989), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

Pours a light copper color with a small head. The aroma is mainly peach. The flavor has a nice malt presence balanced with peaches and enough bitterness to keep things interesting. Light and easy drinking. This helped to turn a bad situation (Dogfish Head tasting that was disappointing) into a nice experience. iwc046 (22), Kansas City, Missouri, USA

Excellent dark amber color with a very light colored head. A relatively strong tasting APA with a really nice after taste which leaves the taste of the hops present in the beer. I am a hop head and find this to be a great beer at places that dont carry IPA beers. BDR (2162), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
