Picked up out on a trip to see Theisti. Golden color with white head. Nice citrus and grapefruit on the nose...along with hops. Good flavor, with hops and fruits coming through. Nice beer.

copper pour the taste is mooth and crisp.. this brewer where i live is in a great trifeca of great brewers. i have goose island in chicago (cubs suck), boulevard in kc (royals are non existant), and schlafly in stl (10 rings). but all produce great products. this beer is easily accessible and cheap by most standards. very enjoyable. go cards! they all beat ab and miller its nice to have some good competiotion besides the mass stuff. this beer IS worth it

12oz bottle courtesy of dakid. Pours a hazy caramel golden color with a one finger foamy white head that settles quickly. Aroma is sweet and hoppy with notes of fresh flowers, spice, citrus (especially grapefruit) and some slight maltiness. Flavor is sweet and hoppy with notes of caramel sweetness, honey, grapefruit and citrus overtones, and a slight bit of grass, hay and yeast. Generally light to medium body with a sweet and floral hoppy finish.

Pours a slightly hazy light amber, almost golden in color. Grainy, crisp aroma. Moderate head with good lacing throughout. Lots of hops evident. Very good going down, bitterness throughout. A very good APA IMO. Will definitely buy again. Bought it at the only place in our town I could find. Will make sure they keep carrying it. To me a good value for $1.25/bottle including tax - Cheers!

Overall a nice APA. Well attenuated, but not overly so. Good balance of maltyness and IBU / astringency. Hop finish could be a bit more for a dry hopped style, but is nice nonetheless. Nice lacing through the whole glass. Definitely invited back to my beer fridge.

Slightly hazy golden amber with a small creamy white head. Slight floral hop tones with some grainy maltiness behind in the aroma. Mundane malt flavors, spritely grassy and bitter hop character. REsidual bitterness and some husky astringency in the finish. Mouthfeel is light medium, fairly crisp.

Bottle on 11/28/2008 in the Great Butters Tasting of 2008. Clear light golden body with a large rocky white head. Big floral and light grassy aroma with faint caramel. Big grassy flavor, more floral hop hints, some caramel and a bit of honey. Medium body with moderate carbonation.
