Vibrant opaque amber. No head. Light malt and light spice on the nose. Balanced, herbal character with a spicy finish. Good malt signature. Nice balance.

Bottle from Acknud. This was better than I expected. Pours nice cloudy brown color. Nice nose of spices, caramel, alchohol, and some very light hop notes. Flavor is malty and sweet with some graham flavors, cinammon, nutmeg and a light, light hops at the end.

Courtesy beastiefan. Caramel colored, with a really nice palate. Natural feeling carbonation, full with a prickly carbonation, complemented by warming caramel-cookie malts and a tempting citrus orange quality, overall very cookieish.

Pour is a murky brown with a small white head. Aroma is pretty darn good with gingerbread, cinammon and nutmeg all coming through. Flavor is weaker than the aroma but there is a very dry spiceyness to it. Hops make an appearence at the end. Still this is a pretty tasty and warming brew.

Bottle: Pours a pale gold color with no head...nose is mainly biscuit-y malts with some spruce, coriander, citrus zest and light nutmeg. Medium bodied...flavor follows the path of the nose righteously. Decent, nothing to write home about.

Draft at Old Chicago in Peoria, IL. Served in pint glass. Dark color. Roasty aroma. Very spicy nose. Alc and spice in the mouth along with some chocolate. Pretty solid stuff. Although I can wait another year before it’s available again.

In the bottle thanks to hurrisnow. Reddish amber with a fast dying white head. Strong orange and clove aroma. I really like this. It has the perfect malt body that does not mask the spices used. This really has as much of a spice profile as the 2008 Anchor OSA. Chunks of things are in the bottom of the bottle. Really outstanding.

Nice aroma. Decent head. Has all the right spice notes in the flavor. The after taste is great on the back of the tounge.
