Lighter ruby copper in color with a medium sized, medium lasting off brown head. Nose is sweet with some grains and just a hint of orange. Taste bland, coppery and just about the same. Nothing too exciting but refreshing towards the end. Better cold.

Drink this at Room temp, for if you do not, then you will get a cough syrup taste to it. At room temperature, the beer has an extreme bakeshop smell, as though you were buying Christmas Cookies. The taste is spicy, and I detected cloves and citrus. kseecs16 (887), Naperville, Illinois, USA

Aroma is rich and spicy. Flavor is rich, clovey, not overly spicy but with a potent malt flavor. nimbleprop (895), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA

Pours a translucent, muddy, copper amber with a creamy, lacing, slightly off white head. Smells like a christmas cookie, ginger, cake icing, sweet, cookie dough, grains, spices, nutmeg. Flavor starts like a beer (grains, caramel, toast, crackers) and ends like a christmas cookie (nutmeg, caramel, cake icing, ginger). Smooth mouthfeel, a little lingering sweetness. For a Christmas beer I really liked it. GJF (501), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 20, 2009 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent uncarbonated golden . The mild aroma was malty mild spice and metallic. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and spices. A decent one that I would consider buying again. drowland (1407), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 13, 2009 This is one crazy cat. It says it’s a brown ale with stuff added, but you don’t get much of the brown. You definitely get the orange, and the spices AND the spiciness of the hops make these crazy phenols jump out which make it smell and taste almost like a solid Belgian Wit. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 16, 2009 Mega particulate laden pumpkin orange with a slowly degenerating tan pile of foam that leaves some patchy lacing. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, orange, other assorted spices along with heavy clove and mild pumpkin. Taste is heavily spiced but not too over the top as it comes across as a very drinkable malty concoction. Heavy spice and cloves with with sweet malt and a touch of alcohol. Finishes up spicy and that lingers on for awhile. aaronhaywood (74), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
