Golden IPA with thick white head. First impression threw me off a bit, but I did end up liking it quite a bit. The flavor is overwhelmed with tasty hop goodness

Pours a slightly hazy gold color with a three finger head. Aroma is of grassy hops, but no overwhelming. Taste is very hoppy. Great beer. I’m becoming more and more impressed with Schlafly’s offerings these days.

Pours dark gold in color with a nice inch of frothy head. Smell is grassy hops. Not pungent, but nice and aromatic.
Huge hops in the taste. Wasn’t expecting that from the smell. Nice. Bittering and nice in the mouthfeel. This is a very good IPA. Decently priced and good. Good things are coming out of Schafly.

Bottle from Sean. At least he sent me something halfway decent to drink. Not that becks NA shit. Was surprised just now when I looked this one up and saw it rated somewhat low. Pours out a nice orange color with a white head. Very drinkable, smooth, refreshing, and crisp. Smells like a hop farm with some sweetness. I dunno, maybe others have gotten less fresh bottle - but this one was good. Thanks Sean.

Bottle from the shop at Bottleworks in STL. Amber color, grayish head. Nose has grapefruit but also a light malty sweetness. Flavor is moderately bitter with a juicy center, good balance and all-around flavor. A touch too big to be refreshing, but tasty and interesting.

Aroma was pleasant. Appearance is light. Flavor not bitter like a traditional IPA. Tasted smooth like a pale. Enjoyable beer.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a big puffy near white head that left great lacing. Aroma of floral and piney hops with a little caramel in the background. Nice balance in the flavor leaning on the hop profile as it should. Med to full body, lively carb, wet texture, and a sweet dry finish. Fine and well balanced IPA.

12 oz bottle: poured cloudy golden yellow with a thick rich off white head. Big aroma of hops and a smattering of caramel. Big hop flavor, earthy, with caramel notes and slight sweetness. Full lacing all the way down the glass. Finishes bitter. Very nice.
