12oz bottle acquired in trade with xmarcnolanx (thanks!). Bottle stamped May 21 2007. Poured a medium and cloudy orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of grapefruits, pineapples, and floral. Tastes of grapefruit, oranges, pine and some caramel. Alcohol content well hidden. Nicely balanced and very enjoyable!

Bottle... Hazy tangerine-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. Very subtle nose... I could only pull notes of grapefruit and dusty, woodsy hops. Good crystal malt foundation for generous, almost heavily bitter hopping. Tannic notes of grapefruit pith override lesser notes of gooey, sweet caramel. Full-bodied with a lightly oily mouthfeel and understated carbonation. Lengthy, tongue-numbing, moderately bitter finish. Big-Time thanks to vyvvy for sending this rarity my way!

Pours a slightly hazy golden bronze with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma has a good fresh grapefruity hoppiness and some toasty, lightly sweet caramel malt. Body starts with a nice malty sweetness and good, fresh grapefruity bittering and flavor hoppy balance. A nice, enjoyable IPA.

Bottle from River’s Bend. Poured a hazy deep amber with a large off-white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Good earthy hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Moderate to heavy balanced hoppy flavor with a moderate smooth bitter finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

Bottle from Acknud just arrived. Came cool enough to drink! Slightly hazy amber gold color with a multifinger off-white head (Sam Adams glass). Lots of floral and citric aroma. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is light stone fruit, followed by a little citrus, followed by some malt. Finish is mostly dry, and remains fruity. Bottle dated 04/22/2008. If you’re holding, don’t worry, cause it’s holding well. It’s one of those floral beers that makes me think ESB. Hoppy ESB. I was just thinking that it’s my kind of light beer, and then I noticed the 8%! No wonder it’s my kind of light beer. And it drinks like 5%. Could be deadly in the wrong hands.
