Mar 28, 2009 Pours a transparent amber orange with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet toasty caramel and biscuity Belgian malt with a light touch of spices and fruity yeasty esters. Starts with some effervescence and malty sweetness with a nice balance of peppery clove and orange peel with some warming acidity showing up in the finish. A decent Belgian strong ale with good authenticity.

Mar 16, 2009 Botle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a clear, deep gold with white fizzy head. Aroma of funk, citrus, some nuttiness. Flavor is very nice funk, tart, some citrus. Mouth feel is light-medium body, fizzy carbonation. Overall, very good stuff!.
