Commercial Description:
2004 Hops in the City festival beer. Fruity, spicy, aromas and flavors contribute to the complexity of this Belgian ale. Medium body and effervescence contribute to a light, dry impression, despite its substantial strength and sweet, smooth finish.

Pours a transparent amber orange with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet toasty caramel and biscuity Belgian malt with a light touch of spices and fruity yeasty esters. Starts with some effervescence and malty sweetness with a nice balance of peppery clove and orange peel with some warming acidity showing up in the finish. A decent Belgian strong ale with good authenticity.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The look is clear, golden in color, and not too much head. The smell is fruity, alcohol, yeasty, and candi sugar. The taste is alcohol, sweet, sugary, fruit, and good after taste.
