a pleasant experience all around. an attractive lady with me for lunch at the brewpub after a long road trip and this nice little beer in front of me. poured a light copper with a decent head. fruity nose, with a flavor that was a bit of the same plus a nice floral hop character. really went well with the meal.

Reddish amber in color, with a good sized, short-lived head. My first Vienna style beer. Sweet and fruity on the nose and slightly bitter, yet crisp, on the finish.

tap-hop in the city 05-i didn’t take much notes for this one since it was on the final pour of the day. pours amber with a small white head. big caramel malt aroma with a faintness of german funky yeast. good sweet malt flavors with a tinge of apple notes. not much hops to speak of. true to style here!

Golden clear appearance. Sweet cherry and strawberry malt aroma, a little grainy as well. Sweet crystal malt flavor, really too much so. Not much beyond that. Bitter and dry bready finish. Ok.

Hop in the City '03: Hazy orange. Chewy sticky malt aroma with light pears and sweet honey. Light maltiness on the tongue, while bitterness rules the finish, and it is seemingly from the west coast, good and interesting interpretation.
