Gregis (836), Overland Park, Kansas, USA Apr 25, 2008 Pours a crystal clear light copper with a thin off-white head. The nose is a muted but pleasant bready malt with a light floral hop note in support. The palate is light+bodied and thin with a moderately dry finish. The flavor is of slightly sweet, bready malt ending with a light touch of bittering hops. A nice example of the style.
vyvvy (1582), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Apr 19, 2008 Pours light copper with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet caramel that is very clean with good toast and hazelnut traits. The body is clean, crisp and light with sharp carbonation. The taste is spot on with the aroma along with some spice showing up on the finish. This is quite good for the style. red éric (1376), montréal, Quebec, Canada Apr 14, 2008 On tap at the Tap Room, bright amber-orang color, with a small white head, toasted, faint caramelized malt nose, with a biscuity dough accent, some floral hop orangey, citrusy aromas follow through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, toasty, caramel malt, zesty, orange hop fruity character, with some citrus flowery hop bitter accents, leading towards a malty, hop citrusy, dry finish. Strykzone (863), Wood River, Illinois, USA Apr 12, 2008 Medium brown color with a nice white head. Plenty of hop and some unroasted barley. A bit of hop as well. A light Octoberfest? Well, maybe without all the spices. This one is more straightforward. Enjoyable. thegreenrooster (1433), St.louis, Missouri, USA Apr 8, 2008 Pour is a brown with a foamy white head. Aroma is a nice dose of caramel malts. Flavor is decent with some of the malts and enough hop character to keep this lively. A decent enough beer.
