Bottle: Deep golden coloured, mid-sized fluffy white lacing head; sweet-malty and citrousy-fruity nose with a tinge of almonds; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; sweet-bitter, slightly fruity finish. A well quaffable Bock......

(33cl bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Dusty, sweet malty, slightly grainy aroma, also a bit perfumed flowery. Sweet, honeyish fruity malty taste, medium to full bodied, medium to crispy carbonation; moderately sweet malty finish with light notes of alcohol and even a whiff of hops. Unspectacular but drinkable and not too sweet.

Whitish head, gone in secs, over gold-coloured beer with a very slight (cold?)haze. Very subdued nose, nothing but pale malts. Dryish, sweet-ish and slightly oxydized taste (yes! bottle is a few months past BBd). Further... some pale malt? There’s really nothing distinctive to mention here. Light to medium bodied. This is German rubbish. There’s NOWT going on, pathetic.

(Bottle 33 cl) Comes as "Schlappeseppel Winterbock". Pours a clear pilsener golden with a creamy, off-white head. Malty, somewhat sulphurous nose. Medium body dominated by pilsener malt with a raw, bitter finish. 080506
