Corn syrup and fusels dominate the nose. Sweet dextrose and honey- very sweet. The body has creamy carbonation- actually a fairly rounded palate, but with a sweet flavor. Lots of corn syrup, fusels, some dough notes. It’s actually quite clean, but with nearly no bitterness to balance the maltose. It’s drinkable when ice cold, but other than that it’s just another fusel-ridden and overly sweet malt liquor. riversideAK (2731), Shoreline, Washington, USA

Nose out of my 24 oz can is sweet and corny with notes of apple juice and alcohol. The artwork on the can is bad ass, this bull with the vintage coin in the background is rather cool. I’m sure the beer is some shade of yellow or gold, but the artwork takes it to the next level. Tastes like chlorine and apple juice. Drinks well for a malt but it tastes sweet and artificial. Well, I’d rather have this for efficiency than bud light. Butters (1652), Virginia, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 20, 2009 Clear pale straw pour with ample white fading head. Grassy clean corn aroma was neither appealing nor appalling. Flavor was similar, but very sweet, like a euro strong lager, but with a fair amount of alcohol burn. Ultra sweet aftertaste. Not the worst ML, but not that great. yobdoog (1457), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 16, 2009 Clear golden orange color with no head. Very fizzy. Aroma has some corn and alcohol. Flavor has a lot of alcohol and corn and grain. Not great. I would prefer the barrel aged version. ronaldtheriot (63), Laplace, Louisiana, USA

It had a nice aroma, poured well and looked good. For those fond of this genre, it has a very fine taste and smooth mouth feel. It has a strong bite, and is soothing to sip. My overall impression was very favorable. I’d certainly buy it again, if I ever saw it again.

Not a lager, but it made the rest of my day go better. If short on funds I would do it again.
