Aroma of malt and alcohol. Solid body dominated by sweet malt and alcohol. Somewhat crude - and very typical - strong lager, bitter finish without any refinement. But drinkable all right. 180106 jfm (1695), Holbæk, Denmark

The aroma is metallic combined with notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel leading to a slightly dry metallic end. The flavor is a lot better than the aroma - though still only average. Jukkabro (3023), Tampere, Finland

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 5, 2005 Pours a very clear pale golden with a medium white head. Lightly herbal, grassy nose with a touch of sweet wort. Flavor has notes of grain, grass, hay, bread, caramel and noble hops. Pleasantly sweet and malty. Has a definitive, ample (yet smooth) hop presence which balances out the flavor quite nicely. Ends with the slightest twinge of alcohol. Medium bodied with a very smooth and creamy texture and medium carbonation. No lacing but good head retention. I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would.
