Commercial Description:
A traditional bock-beer-speciality of Castle Eggenberg. This beer is brewed only seasonally and therefore available during Christmas and Easter holidays. Careful and slow fermentation and maturation make Festbock a desired beer not only in Austria but also in Italy, where it is exported in 30 lt. kegs.

Medium gold, nice head. Lightly bready aroma, bit of floral hop, sweet. Flavor matched. A bock, but kind of venturing into European Strong Lager in terms of its characteristics. Not bad, just not much to it.
