Bottle. Very pilsnery beer. Crisp, clean, and hoppy. Can’t say that I really find this beer to be too fantastic.

Again the green bottle can condemn this beer unless found in an unopened case/box. When at its best it is a very mild and pleasant pilsner beer with a good aroma and a full-body flavor. It is one of Austria’s best pilsners, although increased production and distribution in recent years may erode its quality as with other classic beers.

Canned. On the very sweet side, not a hop king by any means. I am amazed why they did’nt make a beer with this name more well hopped!

A light golden pils with a collapsing white head. Strong skunky aroma due to green bottle, with light grassy malt following. In mouth, a clean fresh malt with a nice german hop finish, lingering and decent. Bought at SAQ for 1.95$.

Bottle: Poured a golden color pils with a nice foamy pure white head with good retention. Aroma is slightly skunky which is not surprising considering the fact that it came in a green bottle and the brewery is probably 4000km away. Taste is also skunky (but not enough to covered the whole taste) with a nice hops finish. This is probably ten time better when pick-up fresh at the brewery and It is just a shame that they export this in green bottle.

Bottle at RFD Washington ... bright yellow with a thin top. Corny aroma. Classic German pils style although a little starchy. Good pilsner.

Golden with a slight edge due to carbonisation. Not too bad but it does distract from the enjoyment of drinking this one.Dry initial taste that leads to a gentle sweetness. Quite a reasonable pils with a classy label.

Bottled - Criterion Leicester. A blonde coloured beer with a nice whitish head. The aroma is sweet and lagery with some grassy hops. The taste is quite thin but there’s some sweetish malts and noticeable hops. Tasty, clean and drinkable if a little short.
