A decent pilsener, one that I was pleasantly surprised to find sitting in my local bottle shop. One would normally not find a pilsener at this time of year ( I would expect), but this’ll do! Pours light and golden, lot’s of bubbles. Very cheery! Flavor is sweet, yet somewhat grassy, overall a pleasant surprise.

Pale Blonde colors. Skunky smell at first. It had a little something that I like. Sweet and refreshing. Very smooth and balanced finish. Interesting pils.

Pale yellow hue, with a frothy white head, at the opening of the green bottle, the skunky smell was emerging, with a floral hops, pale malt aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet crisp pale malt, maltiness accent leading towards a little hop bitterness finish.

(Bottled) Pale golden color with a smallish, quite firm head with some lace. Smoothly grassy-hoppy, a bit buttery aroma with toffee notes. Moderately malty but dry, softly buttery-toffeeish-hoppy flavor. Slight presence of alcohol can be felt, but not in a very bad way. Medium-bodied, quite crisp palate with balanced carbonation. Classy and very balanced. A quality pils, but lacks that something special to make it exciting or even interesting. Well, maybe that’s not even the purpose here - it will most certainly please 99% of the population.

Typical Pils look, clear Gold with a decent White head. Very skunky, but I’d almost expect that considering it traveled from Austria to Japan in a Green bottle. Dried hay and stable scents. A soft malt profile, like a Bohemian Pils, mildly hopped. Not bad for a style I’m not too crazy about. The name is a bit confusing, I rated this under "Schloss Pils" at first until I realized they were two different beers.

Bottled. Light golden coloured. Very thin and sweet aroma of malt and hops. Slightly sourish flavor with notes of hops. To boring.

A light, semi-sweet, flavorful pils that’s better than most I’ve had. Quenches thirst on hot days!!
