| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 1, 2008 Bottle. Super light yellow/straw color, good sized white head, small lacing. Aroma is of grainy, malty effervescence. Sharp lager like smell. Smooth flavor, not as stinging as some pilseners, but adequately crisp and dry. Very drinkable. In the grand scheme, it’s just decent, but for lighter lager types, this was good drinking beer. MrManning (1661), London, Ontario, Canada

Nose of grains and pale malts, floral hops, pepper and some lemon, but it is all very subtle. The taste is watery, grassy and diluted pale malts with a bit of the floral fro the saaz. Dry, prickly finish. This pils might have the distinction of being one of one of the least flavourful ones I have ever had. scanovajr (399), Stanford, California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 17, 2008 Big shiny coarseish offwhite lasting head. Yellow body with carbonation. Grassy, peppery hop aroma with notes of straw and rye. Dry grassy, peppery taste with a light, subtle sweetness. Straw and rye aftertaste with perhaps a little acidity. Clean and harmonic. Traces of sulphur. Nice, but given the name they could use more hops. (0.2l draft at dahoam im bruderhof, Salzburg.)
