Bottle 33cl. @ [ Fastelavns Tasting Ulfborg ].
Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, toasted, old malt, bock alike aroma, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090221]

33 cl from Carlota’s shop in Valladolid. Easy, thin smoked but a well-balanced beer. A little bit watery, I prefer more alcohol taste like old version...but it’s better than Adelscott beer from Heineken group.

Bottle. Clear deep golden with a medium white head. Aroma has light smokiness, malt and a bit of caramel. Slightly unpleasant sweet flavor with some honey and some very lightly smoked malt and vegetal notes. Light to medium-bodied. Not so good and not a very smoked "Smoked".

Bottle (in NZ). Pours a crstal clear amber with a thin white head. A neutral malt in both the aroma and flavour. Slight notes of smoke and whisky sweetness in the finish - but that’s very slight. Easy drinking, though a little thin.

Smoked? Dunno. More like a Vienna or amber to my tastes. Rusty amber in colour with zero head retention. Nose shows subtle (weak?) caramel and malt character, and definitely no smoke. Palate is fairly run-of-the-mill with slightly clunky and slightly heavy malt treatment that falls away very quickly in the back palate. A little spicey peat to finish and I’m trying hard to find that!

Bottle, 5.0%. Weak caramelly aroma, no smoke. Clear dark golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is also caramelly. Once again, no smoke. Slightly sweet, but OK balanced. Medium bitterness.
