Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, toasted, old malt, bock alike aroma, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090221]

Bottle, 5.0%. Weak caramelly aroma, no smoke. Clear dark golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is also caramelly. Once again, no smoke. Slightly sweet, but OK balanced. Medium bitterness.

Goldne with a small white head. Grainy malt aroma with caramel and a touch of green apple. Very sweet caramel flavour

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Amber-yellow colour. Moderatel malty and light hoppy aroma. Strong caramellic notes. Not smoked at all. Moderate bitter very caramellic flavor. Average finish. Watery palate.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are malt, caramel and wood. Some notes of whisky, but not as distinct as the old one.

Bottle. Clear dark golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma and taste of malts, bread and caramel. Where did the smoke go?

bottle, ABV 5.0%. Clear amber-red colour, large and creamy head. Shy malty nose. Medium-bodied, fruity and malty with very shy whiskey flavours, and some very very shy smoke, nearly not smokey at all. Dry finish, which in combination with the malty middle part gives it a bitter-sweet character. Pleasant to drink.

Bottled(330ml). -Pale amber coloured, medium sized off-white head that went away fast, dusty honey nose. Sweet malty, caramel, honey and sugary taste without any notes of whiskey or smoke. Old Nessie was better.
