| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours golden orange, almost bronze, with a short white head that doesn’t last long. Aroma is very light and only has the faintest suggestion of smokiness as well as hints of biscuity malt, caramel and nuts. Flavour has a slightly stronger whisky presence but it is still pretty mild and other notes of malt, wood and caramel. Light body, thin mouthfeel and a short bitter finish. This is a pretty ordinary beer, drinkable but not particularly memorable. davidm (204), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 21, 2009 Bottle 330ml. Interesting beer. Aromas of malty caramel, spices, and some smokiness. Flavour is sweet, with average duration. Watery in the palate, and thin-medium body. Dark yellow in the glass, bubbly, with a frothy head that lasts long. rosenbergh (998), Helsinki, Finland

Clear copper colour with small white head. Caramel and chocolate aroma, quite artificial though. Some burned malts too. Mild burned (smoked) malty aroma with caramel and chocolate. Not really a good one. Suttree (2750), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 27, 2009 Brownish orange, decent off-white head. Medicinal, slightly skinky, slightly smoky aroma. Flavor is bad, frankly. Medicinal and skunky, with only a bit of smoke. astrofrk (219), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Sep 5, 2009 Copper. Foamy, lasting head. Aroma: Smoked-burnt grains. Flavor: Same, malty. Dry, burnt finish. I have had better
Smoked beers. It was as though the brewers read the reviews and responded to the extreme... they burned thier beer instead of smoking it. kseecs16 (914), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Bottle. Aroma is very malty, caramelly and corn flakes. Orange hued light amber with a wispy cumulus head that clings in a bubbluy ring to the glass, no lasting lacing. Not a lot to this, a bit watery with a very grainy somewhat sweet malt. Lingers with a sweetness in the mouth, medium bodied.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 29, 2009 Bottle. Reddish amber colour with white head. Malt and wood aroma. Malt and caramel flavour. The whiskey is too discrete.The smoke seems to have vanished. danielst (162), Vienna, Austria
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 20, 2009 An odd copper red colour with a minimal white head. The aroma is at first quite metallic, turning into a woody, cherryish malt aroma as it warms. The flavour is surprisingly thin - I couldn’t tell that there’s whisky malt in it, except for the warming, sweet malty component. No smokeyness, really. Unpleasing palate - a castrated bockbier.
