33 cl bottle, no idea of the date though the bottle is very clean and spanking-new looking. Clear amber-gold, with huge bubble activity and a small, lasting fine snowy head. Grassy, alcoholic nose with touches of smoky whisky and port wine...more peaty whisky in the flavor topping a rough maltiness and grassy/herbal underpinnings...as it warms and interacts with the air, vanilla sweetness adds to the soft, creamy body. Subtle carbonation. A lovely, subtle beauty that is vastly underrated here, I think; the other end of the smoked spectrum from the heavyweights of Heller-Trum.

Aroma is malty sweet, much alcohol and a light sherry note. Sweet, very malty, complex, some fruitiness and very alcoholic. Well balanced. Really some whiskey feeling on a cod winter evening!

Wow, this is a nice beer. A nice hoppy red that makes me feel happy on the inside (maybe that’s the 7.3% alcohol content).

Bottled. Light golden with an airy head. Sweet maltiness and cereal aroma. Some late bitterness and sweet cereal. Alcohol coming through too much.

Hazy orange-yellow color with fast disapering airy head. Outspoken maltyness in the nose with little fruity side and slight smell of an open fire. The taste is malty with a little roasted accent and a small fruity touche, it is drying up and in the end you have some roundness of the alcohol. In the afthertaste there is a faint hint of medicinal aroma’s some smokeyness and a vegetal dryness. Thanks Raymond for bringing this beer.

Bought this one in LIC. Gladsaxe DK. Golden color with a small fast disapering head. It has a sweet malty fruity aroma and there is a hint of alcohol in the taste. Medium body and a light dry finish.
