Pleasant yeasty nose with elements of dough, pale nuts, and lemon-pepper. Flavor is bready, creamy, and lightly tart with a semi-dry and moderate peppery bitter finish. Has a background hint of butterscotch. Crisp, dry palate with a smooth, light texture. This is a good kellerbier, especially for a bottled import. I guess I got a fresh one.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 5, 2007 Slightly hazy golden body, big white head, thick lacing; Quite deep nose, but plain malt is the only element it has; Big soft carbonation on soft textured body, buttery sweet and only a very little bitterness; Medium long finish with very little aroma, again malt and buttery, the yeast is a very little present as well. Very simple but very drinkable. CaptainCougar (5493), Rockville, Maryland, USA

More of the same in the flavor. Very light hop presence. Refreshing, but on the boring side, even for a lager. HermanW (630), Coevorden, Netherlands

Intense blond color, much hazy and veiled, optimal fizz. Creamy and adherent head: quality aspect. However modest scent with fresh grain and malty notes, light winy nose. Medium prickly taste, rather spiced with notes of clear grape and hop. Light bitter on the end. f351c4v (408), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 15, 2006 Pours a pale, hazy straw color with a small, white head that quicky vanishes. Light citrusy aroma gives way to a malty brew that’s refreshing. Very light body makes this a nice session beer.
