Pours a hazy, deep golden-straw color; bright white head with good retention and glistening, fine-bubbled lacing; gorgeous, mouthwatering pour. Very crisp, dry, tasty aroma: crackers, soft citrus and yellow fruits, some honey. Medium mouthfeel: crisp, toasty crackers and breadiness and citrus; some light acidity; very crisp and clean and drinkable with a solid, toasty malt core; excellent stuff. Medium finish: toasty malts, cereal, and dry mineral / citrus bitterness; crisp, clean end. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA

Clean, sweet tart lemon zest aroma; hints of biscuit, honey, pear and bubblegum. Charming bittersweetness. Zesty earthy sweetness in a lightly gritty grain flavor; soft bitterness and a very bready, calm sugar balance. Needly, herbal hops and a punchy lemony acidity provide counterpoint; a lingering touch of cinnamon bread mid palate. The alternation of bitter and sweet in this example is almost mechanical in precision. Medium body has a crisp and juicy texture; sparkling and soft. Long, wooden bitterness in the finish; refreshing and substantial, showing palapably careful balance throughout. Awesome. nuplastikk (1255), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Pretty mellow wheat(?) beer with a minimal lemony bite. Creamy and intensely drinkable. This is a really exceptional beer, albeit it subtle and restrained. Hop bite fades smoothly into background. A great beer. Truly a balanced beer. wickedpete (629), Lexington Park, Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 27, 2008 Slightly hazy, light yellow color with a thick white head leaving filmy lace down the glass. Aromas of grass and hay, lemon, almost acidic in the way it pierces the nose. Flavor is a thick pleasant blanket of light honey, hay, and a medium dry bitterness to clean the palate in anticipation of the next sip. Full but not sticky, finishes clean, and makes for a refreshing treat. ogivlado (3095), Zagreb, Croatia

Good times. The beers pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a small white head and lace. Nose is light hops, earth, and fresh malts. Flavor and palate are very clean with mild hop flavors. This is a great session beer that I could easily drink all day. jefcon (1009), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Very nice, natural notes throughout. Visually, very cool -- with a persistent haziness that telegraphs the healthy dose of sediment active in the unfiltered beer. Can’t say I have anything to compare this style against, but think of it as a wet, light springtime version of a good hefe. Conplex aromas and flavors are floral and grassy and earthy, think of a meadow. Really drinkable and delicious. Kinz (2221), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
