(on bottle)Deep mustard -yellow/oily color; no head. A sweet sent, allmost bon-bon-like, of malts and alcohol. The mouth is quite round, but is nothing like the kick you get from the finish. POW! Way too much power-hammer-alcohol, really effective. Not complex as a doppelbock should be, just a hammer of alcohol. Should maybe be called the strongest Malt Liquor in the world? RETASTING(THANX RENÉ) PRE2000 BREW.Aroma of rotten fruits and mold. Fat sugar mouth, the alcohol is gone, leaving tons of barley- and a few clayflavours in one muth. Over the top for sure.

Thin white head on a crystal clear deep golden body. Highly malty aroma w/ som vinous sweet alcohol. Toasty & bready malts, lots of alcohol which is also a little spicy & lightly solventy. Clean otherwise. Well balanced for a big beer. Malty finish w/ some alcohol flavor. Some grapey melanoidins and toasted malt flavors, aftertaste is alcohol and malt. Fuller medium body, lots of warmth, medium carbonation, but smooth. Not terribly complex for a bigger beer and a little too much alcohol character overall to have more than one at a sitting. Nice for a snowy NE Ohio night though.

Bronze in color with little to no head. Aroma is strong alcohol with notes of fruit and wood. Flavor is stong on the alcohol with some malty notes. The finish will warm you.

Bottle from LIC. Gladsaxe DK. Clear golden color with a sweet malty light alcoholic aroma, the taste is very sweet with a hint of alcohol, in a medium to full body and a long worming finish.

This pours a very clear, very light brown color with little lasting head. It’s got a very sweet malty aroma, perhaps with hints of light fruit. A very creamy mouthfeel, smooth caramel maltiness. The hops come through lightly in the finish. Very little alcohol presence, but a nice warming drink.

Pours a white, one finger-head that goes quickly leaving no lace. Clear bright amber color. Light carbonation. Medium bodied. Nose is malty. Starts smooth and sweet, the alcohol is right up front, finishes with a little bitterness and an alcohol aftertaste. $3.19 for a 330ml bottle from Liquor Barn Lexington, KY.

Light apple juice color. Gritty earth nose. Sweet, malt, dog biscuit flavors. Slight twinge of alcohol.
