badgerben (2990), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Sep 23, 2005 Updated: Apr 12, 2008 Pale Lager #100. Well, disturbingly enough, I really didn’t hate this one. Pale gold color. Very slight grain and corn aroma and taste. Clean and plain, it’s just spiked water.
scooter_bub (132), Lander, Wyoming, USA Jul 7, 2008 Can. Pours a nice clear golden yellow with a decent white head that fades fairly quickly. Has a decent malt/hop balance, but the taste of corn is fairly present. Is slightly bitter, which is kind of a surprise. Aroma is fairly mild, but matches the taste. I like the can design, as it makes for a good camping beer. Overall, this beer is fairly good for the price as it clean tasting and rather refreshing. BREWMUSKCLES (722), WEEHAWKEN, New Jersey, USA Jun 2, 2008 corny sweet and velvety with a moderate carbonation. refreshing with a bit of a bitter twinge to it. moderately flavorful and golden with a decent white head.I drank to much of this to ignore... but you may want to take my word for it. used to be appealingly cheap and good for a cheap beer especially as a chaser. DuffMan (1844), Calgary (back from 1yr in AUS), Alberta, Canada Jun 1, 2008 Pale golden, big bubbly white head showing poor retention. Stanky corny wet dishrag aroma. Light, nearly flavourless palate that is grainy and sweet. Bland. MrBeerFanatic (172), jamestown, New York, USA May 23, 2008 Light yellow in color and smells of grits gone sour. Tasted very watered down of light grits. Didn’t have a good aftertaste. I figured I’d just try this after never having the interest of doing so just to say I’v tried it. At least it was cheap. JPDIPSO (4180), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Apr 24, 2008 Memories of an after work brew at the Tophat in downtown St. Paul with friends when I was working in the area. I remember the times were better than the beer, but perhaps time heals some wounds. Straw color with a taller, fizzy white head. Wet pulp and hints of glue aromas. Watery, grainy flavors. Some light toasted malt does seem to poke in and out. I remember it not being good, but I don’t remember it being this bad. Light grape juice finish.
