A red-copper colored brew, strong malt sweetness through and through; subtle Czech hopping adds a spicy undertone. A lingering aftertaste will have you longing for another pint. OG 1050;20 IBU

picked up a growler from Schmohz...it’s a little thin, but has a nice toasty flavor that grew on me...I would get it again - $7.50 for a growler is more than fair.

Draft at brewpub. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Light toasted nutty malt aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture. Medium balanced bittersweet flavor with the same medium finish of average duration.

a nice cranberry red appearance with little head; sweet and spicey aroma, with a great flavor of sugars and grapefruit, as well as cherry and strawberry hints it ranks up with the porter for my fav

On tap at Schmohz. Deep red body, medium cream head. Toasty, caramely, sweet and fruity aroma. The flavor profile really highlights the tasty Munich malts, with loads of caramel, dark fruit (berry-like) and toasts finishing with earthy hops. Toasty and very "clean," perhaps because this isn’t really brewed with a lager yeast. Nice full substantial mouthfeel. My favorite of the bunch so far!
