A clear dark amber color body with a small frothy white head , a nice ring of lace left behind , lots of big carbonation bubbles . Aroma of light pine resin and a hint of cloves ? . Flavor of some fruit , maybe apple skins piny hops and a good but slightly dusty pale malt. clean , but slightly watery mouthfeel ,light body , light bitterness with a nice little hoppy finish . Quite sessionable and pretty good . I am finding that I seem to favor Schmohz bottled offerings more than from a growler , nice to see this stuff at my local beer store , a nice local option for drinking. wmubronco1992 (192), Coldwater, Michigan, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 21, 2009 Bottle - Part of an assorted 6 pack from Super Liquor in Coldwater, MI. Pours a nice looking amber color. Big frothy white head. Nice lacing. Interesting fruity aroma. Unfortunately the taste doesn’t match. I’m not a huge Pale Ale fan and this one didn’t turn me. Just a little on the weak side. It has a bitterness to it, but the moutheel isn’t that intense. Just a little weak to be considered a stong brew. Still it does have a crisp finish so not a bad one to try. HonkeyBra (1391), Lemont, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Im not sure what was going on here. Amber pour with a white head. Mostly caramel with some dry hop extract in the nose. Flavor is pretty boring, kind of sweet and lightly hoppy. Nothing too special. esjaygee (1600), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 29, 2007 On tap at Schmohz. Hazy orange body, thin to medium off-white head. Piney, citrusy hops aroma backed by bready malt. Body as expected, hop-dominated but backed by sufficient malt depth to carry the citrus and pine. Bitter finish. Quaffable. milewide (625), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

(i know ur just as excited to here about the bottling)...clean and crisp aroma with a perfect sugar/hop complex that is very typical yet refreshing for a pale..grassy, piney flavor with a smaller, more refined malt finish..slightly bitter and dry; very nice Tmoney99 (4800), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
