Schmohz Zingiberene Ale

On tap at Schmohz Brewing Company. Lively light yellow with no head. Aroma of ginger, malt, apple and mild spice. Taste is mostly of ginger and fruit peel with some spice mixed in. Semi-tart with a dry finish that’s all ginger. I though this one was pretty good and got a little better as it warmed. Of course while drinking it, all I could think of was wanting some sushi to go with it.

Schmohz replaced hops with ginger for the brewing of this unique beer...yellowish orange body with small white head..sour aroma of ginger, citrus, and sugar..flavor is much to sour/acidic to truly enjoy...pure ginger and stomach acid...its initial batch was more enjoyable when i had it
