Ruby/brown with a nice 3" frothy head that collapsed to 1/2" in five minutes leaving some decent lace - not bad at all so far. Mild malty aroma that allows some alcohol through. Medium body, very lightly carbonated, and just faintly sticky. Malty sweetness dominates the flavor, but there is enough balance with some spicy bitter hops to prevent the finish from being overly sweet. Although it’s no Celebrator, it’s still brewed true to style, and very drinkable. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

Kind of a weird meat and vegetable aroma with a touch of metal. Flavor is quite sweet with malt and finsihes somewhat dry with a slight metallic flavor. With subsequent sips, the alcohol tends to overpower me. Decent but it won’t knock Andechser Doppelbock off the top of the heap. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

Sweeter aroma, bready and earthy. Flavor is a bit vegetal, with notes of bread and cocoa. Medium bodied, relatively smooth and pretty drinkable. Decent beer, the guy I got it from said it was $4 for a sixer and it’s more than worth it at that price. hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden
