Jun 21, 2008 Bottle. Ripe banana, apple, and toffee malt aroma. Cloudy dark brown-orange color with large head. Ripe banana, clove, and creamy caramel malt flavor. Moderate carbonation. Very nice, well made dunkelweizen.

Jun 12, 2007 500 ml bottle: poured dark caramel brown with a full sized ecru head. Very light, very light, banana in the aroma. More so than the helles from Schmucker. Aroma also has some roasted malt. Flavor is solid. Roasty with hints of fruit and caramel. I think I liked this better the the Hell.
