Commercial Description:
Wheat beers don't make an uproar only in Bayern and Baden-Würtenberg. Since the beginning of the nineties wheat beers are trendy with the consumers. Yellow, with high reflectability, a balanced and mild taste, with the typical, easily recognizable banana flavour, this top fermenting sparkly beer has its firm place in Schmucker's rich assortment.

(bottle) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a thick and dense foamy white head. Slightly yeasty and dusty wheat-malty aroma with restrained fruity notes and traces of nutmeg and cloves. Sweet flavour with a tinge of acidity, light to medium bodied with a moderate, slightly crispy carbonation. Wheaty and notes of banana and light spicy notes; sweet malt-accented, moderately wheaty finish with minimal sour notes. Classical Kristallweizen. 12.XII.09

Bottle, 5.0%. Clear golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour has a little wheat character, hint of banana. A little citric note, but not so powerful.

Bottled. A clear golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of wheat and not much more. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat and citrus, leading to a dry wheaty and bready finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle. Sweet banana, orange, clove and wheat malt aroma. Golden yellow color with large head - highly effervescent. Ripe banana, clove and wheat malt flavor - less sweet. One of the better Kristallweizen - excellent.
