Drinking from a bottle of Odenwalder Meister Pils - Whichever - It poured a well-beaded yellow body with a frothy white head. Nice lacing. Sweet malts are covered by a sharp floral/grassy aroma. Medium-bodied, it delivers a light bready flavor with a solid amount of hop bitterness, ending in a crisp, dry finish. Pretty decent.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Medium-bodied with sweet pilsener malts nicely balanced by dry hops making quite a harmonious pilsener. 140806

From a twelve ounce bottle marked "Oldenwalder Meister Pilsner" - This one pours a golden liquid with a tall white head and a decidedly malty aroma. Tastewise, it’s an alright pilsner, but nothing to scream about!

This bottled brew from Indianapolis poured a large sized head of foamy white colored mostly lasting finely sized bubbles that left behind a transparent straw yellow orange colored softly carbonated body. The aroma was mild with simple malty hoppy notes to it. The mouth feel was tingly crisp and clean with a mellowing finish. The flavor was crisp malty and hoppy with a very slight astringent note to it.

Bottle. Sold as Odenwalder Meister Pils at ALDI stores in the US. Pous a very light gold with a very thick head. Aroma of hops and little else. Thin and watery with a slight malt flavor and a sour hop finish.
