More in keeping with the crisper finished Northern style than Bavarian, it is extremely nice on tap if you are in the area between Frankfurt and Heidleburg! Don't know if it is available here in the states anymore? Cybercat (800), Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 3, 2009 It pours a typical clear straw yellow with a fairly thick and not too persistent white head. Aroma is malty and a little yeasty, fairly strong and better than that of most pilsners I have sampled. Flavor is crisp, malty, mouth-filling, just a tiny bit fruity, quite satisfying. Texture is lively, fizzy and pleasing. daHammer (60), Smyrna, Georgia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 18, 2007 Had this beer on 6/11/2006. Aroma is a light malt scent. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and nice tight head. Taste is crisp and fresh. Starting with a light body it goes down easy with a fizzy crisp feel. Finish is light and fresh with a mild malt taste backed by an easy bitterness and faint hop flavor. Its one of the better Pilsner and Imports I’ve had. garrison (455), Cin. city, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 26, 2006 From a twelve ounce bottle marked "Oldenwalder Meister Pilsner" - This one pours a golden liquid with a tall white head and a decidedly malty aroma. Tastewise, it’s an alright pilsner, but nothing to scream about! larsniclas (3386), Gothenburg, Sweden
