Oct 29, 2006 If this wasn’t an authentic German import I’d swear they slipped some corn in here. Flowery aroma along with corn aroma. Sweet soft palate with little going on. Appearance is clean and pale with nice lacing. High carbonation in palate with hops in the finish.

Oct 22, 2006 Drinking from a bottle of Oldenwalder Golden Lager: Nice pour, a bright gold color with a huge, creamy white head. Good lacing. It smells like warm buttered bread, a daub of honey, and distant garden flowers. Slightly oily palate, perhaps a bit thin. Aug 14, 2006 A light yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with ligth notes of metal and hops - my guess is that the metal tinge is from the hops. The flavor is sweet malty with a strong presence of straw, but also lesser notes of caramel. The end is dry and strawy.
