| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 22, 2006 Drinking from a bottle of Oldenwalder Golden Lager: Nice pour, a bright gold color with a huge, creamy white head. Good lacing. It smells like warm buttered bread, a daub of honey, and distant garden flowers. Slightly oily palate, perhaps a bit thin. The flavor is sweet soft malts with the merest touch of an herbal bitterness that keeps the malts in check. Not bad.
