Some brandy flavor but there’s a metalic tone that I don’t like much.
Taste is fruity, sweet, cherries and caramel. motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Updated: Dec 31, 2008(bottle - 12 oz) Golden in color with a very thin amount of tan head. Aroma is full of cherries, prunes, plums, raisins, and caramel malts. Flavor is rich and malty as well. Some notes of brandy and cherries begin the flavor, the caramel malts take over, and the finish is fruity and slightly vegetabley. An interesting bock to say the very least. bierkoning (6048), La Tropica, Netherlands
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 29, 2006 Bottle from MoritzF, with my thanks. Pinkish golden color. Malty flowery aroma, with a touch of cherry brandy. Malty flavor at first, but that is tackled by some burning alcohol. Thin to medium bodied. Touches of brandy and blossom water. Pleasant, but not optimally balanced.
