Commercial Description:
This Beer is bottled in 500ml SCHNEIDER bottles.
This unique beer is the result of the long friendship of Schneider brewmaster Hans-Peter Drexler and Brooklyn brewmaster Garrett Oliver. The two brewmasters feel that Schneider & Brooklyner Hopfen-Weisse represents the quality, tradition and terroir of the Bavarian Hallertauer hop region paired with the innovation and creative energy for which Brooklyn is famous.

Poured into a stein. Golden with slight orange/brown tints with significant yeast haziness and a fairly thick 2 finger head. Aromas of citrus and a little malt. Taste is awesome. More hoppy than i was expecting and the citrus tones were delicious. Great blend of styles here with the increased hop taste. Loved it. Would definitely buy again

Yellow with brown hues, plenty of yeast haze. 4 cm white airy head that dissipates after a while, while leaving nice lacings on the glass. Nice hop character in the nose - grapefruit, grass an resins, some pine-needles. Banana. Some yeast. Quite a lot of white pepper. Decent malt character beneath - white bread, wheat. Quite nice overall, but there are some notes that are slightly too assertive, not really harmonious. The taste is not as impressive as the smell. Again, there are plenty of hops, but they are not as well defined as in the smell (grape, grass, floral notes). A rather sweet and juicy malty backbone mixes with a prominent spicy character (mostly white pepper). Some flavors of bubblegum, and of course banana. The finish is mildly bitter and dominated by a very sweet and sticky taste of alcohol, making the beer slightly perfumy. Faint mineral-notes, bread and hints of lemon lingers in the mouth. Moderate body, plenty of carbonation but the bubbles are rather calm. Slightly chewy due to the alcohol. This is a rather good beer, but for some reason it didn’t really do it for me. This one proves that more hops is not always better. It lacks balance, the flavors are not integrated with each other and the alcohol is too prominent. Poured from a larger bottle into a tulip pint glass to drink. The beer had a cloudy, light sediment straw-gold color with a good-sized foamy and creamy white had that had good retention and decent cling. It had a sweet fruity, floral and citrus hops aroma with some banana components, a bit of yeast and orange, with some malt too. It was a sweet, fruity beer with some banana and orange flavors, and a bit of underlying bitterness too. A wet, slightly watery beer with good carbonation, and a lively mouthfeel. One of, if not, the best I have had in this style.

Aroma of citrus, apples and yeast. Appearance is cloudy amber with medium white head. Flavor is surprisingly hopy and dry with hints of citrus and yeast. Weiz-beers are usually not my style but this beer is actually really good and has a similarity to an IPA.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Ismo E! Murky yellow brown color. The aromas of grapefruity-pineappley hops, clove, pepper and fruity tartness. Sweet, hoppy and phenolic flavor with complex hop flavor featuring lemon, grapefruit, pineapple and some herbal notes as well. Clove is very apparent in finish.Full bodied oily palate. Weird medicinal (aspirin) and soapy note in the aroma and flavor. Very complex and original but not completely in balance, there are some very odd notes.
