Citrusy and light spicey hops on the nose then cloves. Taste is very similar, quite nice, the alcohol is only just warming, good carbonation and body. Wasn’t really expecting a lot and don’t really go for wheat beers but loved this. elhefeweizen (12), Denmark

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 29, 2009 A Mes rate: bottle from the Bottle Stop, drunk at home. My god this is excellent. Straight from the off it looked the part in my Konig Ludwig glass. An amazing yellow gold colour with a good bright white head, plenty of lace and a plethora of bubbles streaking for the air. The aroma is good but not spectacular. It’s quite clearly the Schneiderweisse with a good helping of chewy US hops. The flavour is glorious however. Huge tangeriney hops blend miraculously with the estery weisse. I would have never expected that to work but it’s quite simply a thing of joy. My dinner has just been put in front of me by my lovely mrs and I’m seriously considering pouring some of this on it, it’s that good. It’s not complex, it’s certainly not anything shocking or outlandish but something just sits soooo bloody right. I’m having difficulty getting this rate out it’s slipping down so easily. Hang about, where the hell is the alcohol? 8.2 it’s drinks like a 4.1. Christ, I could get shouting at strangers drunk on this. The only thing giving it away is the warm belly glow I have going on. This is top draw, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. UnholyBrewing (448), Melbourne(Mulgrave), Australia
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jul 29, 2009 ...500 ml bottle into Weihenstapan glass. Wow, holy shit, it this real? I think this is possibly my highest rating. I never liked hops, ever, in a wheat. This is not a dunkel, this is not a bock. This is straight up, wheat ale! With a kick to your balls from behind. Explosive flavors of citrus, on the nose and on the tongue. Then the hops come in, tickle your taste buds, and blend perfectly with the prevalent citrus notes. Somewhat of a piney tickle in the back of the throat, but not overwhelming. On the swallow, goes down very fruity, hoppy, with a small alcohol bite at the very end. I know this was very expensive, but definitely a treat. A must try for a tastebud, hopped wheat extravangaza!!!!!! Try it, if yopu can find it. It was almost impossible here in AUS, thanx Purvis. thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway

Lovely aroma of wheat, banana, citrus and lots of spicy hops. Flavour is sweet malty, banana, hops, citrus and clove. Its very well balanced and the spicy hops really gives an extra dimension to this style of beer. Cramy texture. Awesome beer.
